Your first two images enlarge but the others don't. Maybe it's just my computer. I was really only able to look at the first two floor plans. Looking at those, I am trying to understand how the lighting affects your space. Are there double height spaces? Are some of those spaces open to below/above? Your plans have a lot of detail and really start to suggest a real sense of space. I would be intrigued to read more about how the lighting would be experienced within each one of those. Good luck this week!
Yeah, your are right Annie; all the first thrre floors are staggered and are opened to below and above. The same thing happens in the restaurant levels. I will be coloring these up so they read better. Now that you mention the light, I might come up with a diagram that shows the 3d light versus the 2d since it is my concept.
My name is Carlos E. Maldonado-Cruz and I am originally from San German, Puerto Rico. I received my Bachelors Degree in Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2003. Since then I have been working in an architecture firm called The Albion Group where the work is mostly retail and commercial design, although once in a while there are some fun projects too. Working in this firm helped me understand the realities of the profession and the difference between school and working in a real firm. I am a recent graduate of Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College.
